New Zealand annual temperature.

From 1990, the data has been taken from the same 7 sites, using the same temperature probe technology (HMP155 & HMP45). Pre 1990, various other sites and manual thermometer technology was used.

 

The average daily temperature for the year 2023 was 13.61c, this is 0.78c above the 1990 to 2023 average. The temperature trend using the moving 2 year average is currently upward.
