Te Aroha earthquake sequence awakens

This morning's Te Aroha shallow magnitude 3.2 earthquake on the Kerepehi Fault is the 3rd and strongest over the last 72 hours in the area. It was felt by nearly 500 folks in the region. This is the 131st quake in a sequence that commenced in Nov 2022, with the largest quake being a M5.1 on 4th Jan 2023.
