Warm and stormy finish for the southern areas of the gulf

Saturday 6th November was the warmest day for most areas since 25th March. The day time heat has helped triggered a line of showers and thunderstorms through Auckland and Northern areas of the Waikato in the evening.

A negative charged cloud to ground lightning bolt appeared on our live webcam at 5:42pm striking Mission bay.
